Like I said, I messed with it a little a guitar center and thought it sounded pretty darn good. I was hoping to hear from someone who uses the 1101 regularly. It sounds like something I might really like. One says stay away while the other says it is amazing! The Fender clean sound is better than anything I have used previously and the overdrives are rich and without any fizz or the brittle digital sound usually associated with those Boss units mentioned in an earlier post. This may be a fault in my particular unit though but I am not sure. There's a bug(?) as well in that when I tweak sounds live and write to a memory location it ends up needing to be turned off and back on to clear edit buffers that seem to get confused with actual patch locations. About the only thing I'd really like that's missing is an optical or SPDIF output on it - it does have USB audio streaming though, which works really well. GSP1101 has amazing chorus and reverbs (Lexicon) and the stomps are the best I've ever heard in a digital unit. I love it so much I use my PODXT Live as a remote foot pedal for it when I play live (which is kinda cool as I always have a backup). but I guess it was loud in theirs.I use a GSP1101 and it craps on 99% of everything out there that pretends to model guitar amps. The only reason I am doing this now is because my neighbors, instead of telling me to turn down, decided it would be better to call the cops! It wasn't loud in my apt. I am moving in a year or so where I will be able to use my amps, so I don't want to spend too much.
